Pieter-Jelle de Boer, a Dutch-born conductor, has
served as the Music Director of the Orchestre des
Pays de Savoie since September 2021.
Based in France, Pieter-Jelle de Boer has
collaborated with a number of national orchestras,
including the Orchestre national de France, the
Orchestre national du Capitole de Toulouse, the
Orchestre Symphonique de Mulhouse and the
Orchestre national Avignon-Provence. He has
also served as assistant conductor of the Orchestre
national Bordeaux-Aquitaine and associate
conductor of the Accentus choir.
His career as a guest conductor has also taken him
to conduct the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande
and the RTVE Orchestra in Madrid, as well as
orchestras in his native country, where he is a
regular guest (Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra,
The Hague Residence Orchestra).
Additionally, Pieter-Jelle de Boer is a
pianist, organist, and composer. He is an
unconditional admirer of all musical genres
and is continually seeking new way to share
his passion with diverse audiences.
