Elodie Bouny graduated from the music academies of Boulogne Billancourt and Strasbourg (France). She also obtained a Master’s Degree in Music from the University of Rio de Janeiro.

She has been finalist in many guitar competitions and has given solo performances in many countries. She is the artistic director of the CDs Mafua (Yamandu Costa), Toccata a amizade (Yamandu Costa, Rogerio Caetano, Luis Barcellos, Bebê Kramer), Bordadeira (Beth Marques), Bailongo (Yamandu Costa e Guto Wirtti), Novas 1 (various Brazilian artists) and Novas 2.

She also works as a composer and orchestrator. The pieces she arranged have been performed/played at the Salle Pleyel in Paris, at the Teatro São Pedro in Porto Alegre and at the Teatro Cine Odeon in Cuiabá (Brazil), among others.
