Since winning first prize at the Harpsichord Competition of Bruges, Béatrice Martin has had a brilliant career as a soloist, chamber music performer and teacher. She has been invited as a soloist by some of the most important festivals and institutions (the Aix-en-Provence, La Roque-d’Anthéron, Sablé, Utrecht, Folles journées festivals, the Théâtre du Châtelet, the Cité de la Musique, the Opéra Comique…) and has been a favourite collaborator of William Christie and his Arts Florissants for more than twenty years. She also dedicates her talents to chamber music with Patrick Cohën-Akenine’s Folies Françoises, with who she has recorded, among others, several of Bach’s concerti (Diapason d’or) and all of his sonatas for violin and harpsichord (Choc du Monde de la Musique Vol.I).
A noted pedagogue holding a French Certificat d’Aptitude, she teaches courses and master classes at the Paris Conservatory, at the ESMUC in Barcelona and at the Julliard School in New York.
