Introducing: Virtual Crime. The four movie-buffs in the group Kino Sounds got their training on the benches of the Orchestre National de Jazz. Now they are offering an imaginary soundtrack to their film library. Rémi Dumoulin’s original musical pieces aim for a jazzy and brassy acoustic chamber sound, spiked with a soupçon of improvisation. Performing are: Sylvain Bardiau (trumpet, trombone, and bugle), Rémi Dumoulin (tenor saxophone, clarinet, and bass clarinet), Matthieu Metzger (soprano, alto, and baritone saxophones), and Yoann Serra (drums, flute, celesta, and glockenspiel).
