Jonas Vitaud’s enthusiasm and curiosity lead him to explore a repertoire ranging from Mozart, Liszt, Brahms, Debussy, Ravel, and Scriabin, to the contemporary works of Thierry Escaich, György Kurtag, and Philippe Hersant.
Jonas Vitaud worked with Henri Dutilleux in 2004 at the Musique sur Ciel music festival in Cordes-sur-Ciel, France. This joint effort was a decisive source of artistic inspiration and growth.
Studying under Brigitte Engerer, Jean Koerner, and Christian Ivaldi, he won four first prizes at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris.

Having won several international competitions as both soloist and chamber musician (e.g. Vienna’s Beethoven Festival, Munich’s ARD), Jonas Vitaud now graces stages in events such as La Roque d’Anthéron, the Paris Opéra Bastille’s Amphithéâtre, the Tonhalle in Zürich, the Phillips Collection in Washington, the Lille Piano(s) Festival, the Piano aux Jacobins, the Pâques à Deauville, the Festival de la Chaise-Dieu, the Richard Strauss Festival in Germany, Osaka’s Phoenix Hall, Dubrovnik’s Summer Festival, and Hong Kong’s French May.
