After studying at the CRR (The Regional Conservatory) of Versailles in the class of Alexandre Brussilovsky, Isabelle Durin obtained her diploma at the CNSM (Conservatoire national supérieur de musique) of Lyon in the class of Jean Estournet and Kazimierz Olechowski. She pursueda chamber music program at the CNSM of Paris in the classes of Alain Meunier and Michel Strauss. This musical itinerarywas simultaneously broadened by another university curriculum – more specifically Certificat of advanced study of philosophy at the Sorbonne, in Paris) -, which she considered a source of enrichment. In addition, her connection and appreciation of the symphonic repertoire lead her to join the Orchestre national d’ïle-de-France and to play at the Philharmonie de Paris, the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées, the salle Gaveau… In addition to her numerous performative activities, she broadened her passion to the organisation of the «Les Harmonies Estivales» festival and now at the château La Motte-Tillyas its artistic director. With the pianist Michaël Ertzscheid, Isabelle Durin released two records – Romantisme hébraïque in 2008 (Jade/Universal) and Mémoire et Cinéma (Paraty/Pias) in 2018 – both praised by the media – that allowed her to meet audiences during numerous concerts in France and aboard, including the Musée d’Art et d’Histoire du judaïsme (Museum of Jewish Art and History) and the Mémorial de la Shoah (Holocaust Museum), Théâtre du Ranelagh in Paris, the Musée dauphinois the Musée de la résistance et de la déportation de l’Isère in Grenoble, the portuguese synagogue in Amsterdam, in London, Cambridge (Fitzwilliam Museum) and Oxford (Queen’s College), in Miami, in Romania (Cluj-Napoca, Timișoara and lași), during a tour in China, in the Budapest Holocaust Memorial Center. She worked with Alain Duault during a Radio Classique cruise for several recitals
